McKINNEY ⁄ DRUMMOND
I would like help finding information on the following individuals that were in Mercer County, at Viola, during the late 1800's:
Ebenezer Lee McKinney - the name may also be spelled McKimmey or McKiney or any other variants.  He was born approximately 1848 in Cadiz, Harrison, Ohio to Ebenezer McKinney and Rhuhamah Drummond.
Rhuhamah Drummond McKinney - his mother.  She is supposed to be buried in the Viola Cemetery and would have died after 1880.  She was born around 1805 give or take a few years.  The census records are not great on her age.
Ebenezer was the sibling of the following children of Rhuhamah and Ebenezer McKinney Sr.:
1) Mary McKinney, born about 1843.  Was listed with her mother in the
census of 1860 as a seamstress. Then I can't find her anymore. 2)James Renwick McKinney born 08 October 1846  3)Patterson Leonard McKinney born 22 May 1844.
Ebenezer Lee had three or more children with a wife named Mary.  They were Hallie born 1872, Bertha born 1879, and Lewis born 1875. Thank you, Donna

KRANZ
I am submitting this in hopes someone can help me. I have been to Aledo and seen my above mentioned ggf's estate papers. He died in Keithsburg 6 Nov, 1853. His wife, Lydia, evidently preceeded him in death, for he left five orphaned children. Were there guardians appointed for the children?  And any info on Lydia's death? Any way of knowing where the children were taken?  Thanks, Virginia McConnaha Kranz

JOHNSTON ⁄ HUTHCINSON ⁄ LIPTON ⁄ HICKS ⁄ GAULEY ⁄ BLAKELY ⁄ RAMSEY ⁄ MOFFITT ⁄ ALLEN
ALLEN, BRANNIAN, BLAKELY, GAULEY, GORSUCH, HICKS, HUTHCINSON, JOHNSTON, MOFFITT, RAMSEY Between 1845 and 1850 three of the sons of William and Mary Johnston of County Fermanaugh, Ireland, removed themselves and there families to the ‘new world'. They arrived at the port of New Orleans and traveled up the Mississippi River to Rock Island, Illinois. The three brothers and their families settled in Bowling township, Rock Island county and Preemption and Perryton township, Mercer county. The families had a habit of inter-marrying and if one was to look closely at the following chart they would find several cases of first cousins beginning a family. Along with marring other Johnston's, the offspring of the brothers married into other Irish families with the names listed on the heading. The Johnston and Hutchinson name is not as well known in the three township today, as it was 100 years ago, but I am sure there are a number of person who could trace their ancestors back to one of these Orangemen. I would be most interested in corresponding with any person researching these Mercer and Rock Island county names. The following tree only shows the three brothers and their children; much more information is available for those that have an interest in this family.
